About the role
We are looking for a reliable Machine Operator to join our production team at Nigeria Distilleries Limited in Abeokuta. The role involves operating and maintaining production machinery to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- Develop and follow preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Document production activities, material consumption, wastage, machine performance and any issues encountered.
- Report production and maintenance records to supervisors for informed decision‑making.
Required profile
- Minimum OND in Engineering.
- 1‑3 years of experience in a similar machine operation or maintenance role.
