About the role
The company is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to run yarn winding machines in its Lagos production facility. You will be responsible for meeting daily output targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate yarn winding machines efficiently and safely.
- Set up, adjust, and monitor machine settings to ensure proper winding and consistent product quality.
- Inspect yarn and finished packages for defects or breakages during production.
- Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and report any mechanical faults.
- Load raw materials correctly and monitor machine performance throughout the shift.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and performance metrics.
- Follow health, safety, and operational procedures to keep the workplace organized.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production schedules.
Required profile
- Minimum OND qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience operating similar machinery.
