Lounge Supervisor

About the role

The Lounge Supervisor will lead daily operations of the lounge, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and seamless service for guests. This full‑time, onsite role reports to senior management and requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing procedures, completing all checklists.
• Manage inventory, order food, beverages and sundries, and maintain strict stock control.
• Create and manage staff rosters, monitor attendance and performance, and enforce grooming and service standards.
• Assist in training and developing new and existing team members.
• Maintain a clean, well‑presented lounge environment at all times.
• Interact with guests to gauge satisfaction and anticipate needs.
• Conduct daily audits, handle shift reconciliations and cash procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations, including temperature checks and food safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a lounge, bar, restaurant or high‑end hospitality setting.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, delegation and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Understanding of budgeting, inventory control and cost management.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Availability for a physical interview in Trans‑Amadi, Port Harcourt.
