Longevity Diagnostics Specialist / Health Optimisation Physician

About the role

A premium hospitality group in Maitama, Abuja is looking for an experienced Longevity Diagnostics Specialist / Health Optimisation Physician to lead advanced preventive healthcare, executive wellness assessments and personalised health optimisation programmes. The role combines clinical expertise with strong communication skills, and sits under the Head of Wellness & Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out health assessments, executive medical evaluations and preventive screenings for members and clients.
• Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics such as body composition analysis (InBody), VO Max testing, metabolic assessments, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry, spirometry, ECGs and other investigations.
• Develop personalised health optimisation, preventive medicine and lifestyle intervention programmes.
• Provide detailed consultations and monitor progress through follow-ups and repeat tests.
• Identify health risks early and refer to specialists when needed.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, fitness professionals, nutritionists and wellness coaches on multidisciplinary programmes.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and confidential patient information in line with MDCN and data protection rules.
• Oversee calibration, maintenance and quality assurance of diagnostic equipment, and develop clinical protocols and wellness packages.
• Deliver health education sessions and contribute to business development for premium wellness services.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognised institution, with a valid MDCN licence.
• 4-8 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Proven experience in executive health assessments and preventive programmes.
• Postgraduate training or expertise in preventive, lifestyle, sports, family, internal, functional or occupational medicine is an advantage.
• Must live in Abuja or be willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Interpretation of diagnostic investigations and clear communication of findings to diverse clients.
• Proficiency in EMR, clinical software, Microsoft Office and diagnostic reporting systems.
• Strong clinical reasoning, decision-making and interpersonal skills with senior executives and diplomats.
