Physiotherapist - Premium Hospitality

About the role

A premium hospitality employer in Maitama, Abuja is looking for a patient-focused Physiotherapist to deliver musculoskeletal assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention for members and private clients. The role works alongside physicians, personal trainers and wellness coaches to design individualised rehabilitation programmes. The salary is N500,000 net per month and the candidate must live in Abuja or be willing to relocate.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, sports-related and post-surgical conditions
• Develop and deliver treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, soft tissue mobilisation, electrotherapy and therapeutic taping
• Design progressive rehabilitation programmes and conduct injury prevention screenings, posture and movement analyses
• Educate clients on injury prevention, pain management and home exercise programmes
• Maintain clinical records, EMRs and equipment, and take part in wellness education and member engagement
• Prepare periodic reports, comply with clinical governance and MRTB standards, and perform other duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) or equivalent from a recognised institution
• Current practising licence and registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists (Registration) Board of Nigeria (MRTB)
• 4-7 years of post-qualification clinical experience; post-operative and chronic pain rehabilitation experience is highly desirable
• Professional certifications in dry needling, shockwave therapy, sports physiotherapy or kinesiologic taping are an advantage
• Proficiency in EMR, clinical software and Microsoft Office; must reside in Abuja or be willing to relocate
