Logistics Officer

About the role

The Logistics Officer will oversee daily fleet and logistics activities for a shipping and logistics company based in Lagos. You will ensure vehicles are road‑worthy, monitor fuel usage, and support efficient delivery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily fleet operations, including scheduling vehicle maintenance.
• Track truck usage, fuel consumption, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Manage truck drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare regular fleet and logistics performance reports.
• Identify and resolve transportation or operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Logistics.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Fleet Officer, Logistics Officer, or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Residency in or around Ajao Estate, or willingness to commute.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
