Delivery Driver – Lagos

About the role

Evans Industries Limited is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join its logistics team in Marina, Lagos. You will be responsible for transporting packages, documents and other items safely and on time, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages, documents and other items to specified locations promptly and securely.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to optimise delivery times.
• Obtain signatures, confirmations or collect payments upon delivery.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in good working condition and keep all documentation up to date.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and drive safely at all times.
• Update logbooks and report any vehicle‑related matters to a supervisor.

Required profile

• Valid rider’s/driver’s card or licence.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Familiarity with Lagos road networks.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Punctual, reliable, honest and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours and the demands of the role.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and supervisors.
• At least an SSCE/WAEC qualification.
