Logistics Officer

About the role

Finwerd is seeking a Logistics Officer to coordinate international logistics flows and ensure the timely availability of raw materials for production. The role bridges inbound shipments, warehouse needs, and outbound delivery of finished goods while maintaining compliance with customs and documentation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international ocean and air shipments to guarantee timely delivery of raw materials.
• Manage truck movements for inbound receipts and outbound delivery of finished goods.
• Prepare and validate customs documentation and act as the operational point of contact for suppliers, customs brokers, production, and warehousing teams.
• Prioritise purchase orders and shipments based on production needs, material shortages, and urgency.
• Collaborate with the Global Logistics Manager, Production Manager and Warehouse Manager to align inbound planning with production schedules and storage capacity.
• Monitor shipment status, proactively manage delays or risks, and ensure accurate logistics data entry in the ERP system.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of logistics experience with exposure to import/export operations.
• Working knowledge of customs processes, documentation, and Incoterms.
• Strong understanding of international shipping flows across sea, air, and land.
• Experience in inventory, warehouse coordination, or production support environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
