Logistics Manager – Lagos

About the role

Workcentral Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead its logistics, transportation, dispatch, inventory movement, and delivery operations in Lagos. The role focuses on ensuring efficient, safe, and cost‑effective movement of goods, materials, and personnel while maintaining high delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily logistics and transportation activities.
• Manage deliveries, dispatch riders, drivers, vehicles and logistics vendors.
• Develop efficient delivery routes and schedules to minimise delays and costs.
• Track vehicle and driver activities, maintain accurate logistics records and monitor vehicle maintenance, fuel usage and documentation.
• Control logistics‑related expenses and ensure cost efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, warehouse teams and other departments to ensure proper handling, loading, transportation and delivery of goods.
• Resolve delivery issues, customer complaints and logistics challenges promptly.
• Prepare regular operational reports and evaluate logistics performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, distribution or supply chain operations.
• Proven experience managing drivers, dispatch riders, vehicles or third‑party logistics providers.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
