Logistics and Inventory Officer

About the role

To prevent stockouts, overstocking, losses, and logistics issues by building and managing a smooth, reliable inventory and logistics system that supports sales growth. You will maintain accurate inventory records with logistics partners and ensure physical stock matches system records.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily and monthly stock updates across WhatsApp groups with logistics partners in Nigeria.
• Conduct inventory and stock forecasting to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Pick up/receive stock from suppliers, coordinate waybills to various states, and ensure stock is received in good condition.
• Conduct weekly performance analysis for all logistics partners.
• Identify fast‑moving, slow‑moving, and dead states and report insights to management.
• Hire and fire logistics partners as needed.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience in inventory and logistics management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate issues and act proactively.
• Reliable, proactive work ethic.
• Basic data analysis skills to understand stock movement and trends.
• Passion for home safety and improving people’s lives.
