Learning Measurement & Evaluation Officer – Ekiti

About the role

The Learning Measurement & Evaluation Officer will design, implement and strengthen systems that support learning, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and reporting across the organization’s programmes. You will ensure project activities are tracked, results measured and evidence generated for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project implementation and track progress toward outputs, outcomes and impact.
• Design, review and improve the organisation’s Learning, Measurement and Evaluation (LME) systems.
• Develop and apply MEAL frameworks, tools and processes.
• Lead data collection, analysis and interpretation to support evidence‑based decisions.
• Conduct periodic evaluations and assessments of programme performance.
• Collaborate with programme teams to develop indicators, logical frameworks and data collection plans.
• Produce internal and external reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Facilitate learning sessions and document best practices and lessons learned.
• Build capacity of staff and partners on monitoring tools and data quality assurance.
• Support proposal development with MEAL plans, indicators and reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Economics, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, learning, research, data management or programme quality.
