Lead - Data Product

About the role

The Lead – Data Product will drive Airtel Africa’s data subscriber and revenue growth in Nigeria, ensuring the company outpaces competitors. The role combines market insight, analytics, and product lifecycle management to create and launch data services that meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Use data insights and market research to understand consumer behavior and shape programs and promotions.
• Monitor usage patterns, track the customer lifecycle and drive ARPU growth.
• Conduct analysis of individual and aggregate data consumption and map customers to segment profiles.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly campaign performance reports and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Track KPIs for data segments and generate ideas for product enhancements.
• Lead the end‑to‑end launch of data products across all customer segments, including trade‑focused initiatives.
• Manage technical development, act as functional SME throughout the product lifecycle, and provide documentation and training.
• Execute promotional campaigns and coordinate delivery of special products with multiple stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of consumer behavior, social and technology trends, and OTT services.
• Proven experience in revenue generation, project management and solution design.
• Ability to translate market insights into new business opportunities.
