Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team in Akure. The role involves handling all aspects of laundry processing, from receiving items to delivering finished orders. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and label laundry items according to customer instructions.
• Wash, dry, iron, and fold clothes and other textiles safely and efficiently.
• Package completed orders for delivery or pickup.
• Inspect garments for stains, damage, or special‑care requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment.
• Report damaged items, equipment faults, or customer concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with additional laundromat duties as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience (entry‑level acceptable).
• Neat, honest, hardworking, and reliable.
• Good attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends.

Required skills

• Operation of washing machines and dryers.
• Ironing and folding techniques.
• Stain detection and garment care handling.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent position.
• Monthly salary between NGN 70,000 and NGN 150,000.
• Shift work with weekend availability.
