Lab Technician – Full-time in Kano

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our team in Kano. The successful candidate will perform a range of laboratory tests, maintain equipment, and ensure high‑quality results that support our clients in the earth sciences and agricultural sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following standardized procedures.
• Prepare, label, and store samples for analysis.
• Operate and maintain microscopes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, and other analytical instruments.
• Record, analyze, and report experimental data accurately.
• Calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Perform quality control checks and contribute to quality assurance programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Manage sample inventory and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ laboratory experience.
• Prior experience in an inspection company or FMCG environment is a plus.
