About the role
The Kitchen Assistant will support daily kitchen operations at Recore Limited's facility in Sagamu, Ogun. This full‑time position focuses on food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safe handling of kitchen tools and materials. The role is essential for efficient meal service and strict adherence to hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the chef/cook with basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and work areas at all times.
- Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment promptly after use.
- Support meal serving when required.
- Ensure proper storage of food items in line with hygiene standards.
- Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and uphold sanitation standards.
- Report any damages, shortages, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
