Junior Sales Engineer – EPCI (Oil & Gas)

About the role

The Junior Sales Engineer will join the commercial team to support sales of steel materials and solutions for the EPCI oil‑and‑gas sector. Working onsite in Lekki, Lagos, you will learn product details, market dynamics and the sales process while contributing to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships.
• Support the preparation of tenders, quotations and contract documentation.
• Participate in client meetings and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Learn to manage contracts and interpret technical specifications.
• Collaborate with internal departments and international teams.
• Monitor market developments, pricing trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical, etc.).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in international sales of industrial steel products.
• Experience in the EPCI oil‑and‑gas sector or steel industry.
• Basic understanding of technical steel specifications.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of steel materials.
• Ability to prepare tenders and quotations.
• Familiarity with contract management processes.
