Junior Researcher – Clean Technology

About the role

Clean Technology Hub is looking for a motivated Junior Researcher to support its research programme focused on energy access and climate resilience. You will join a dynamic team and contribute to policy, advocacy and enterprise development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and develop content on global issues related to clean energy, climate change and energy access.
• Coordinate with research partners, communities and stakeholders throughout project cycles.
• Analyze, evaluate and interpret research results and produce clear reports and recommendations.
• Monitor trends in the renewable energy sector and support monitoring and evaluation activities.
• Assist in market intelligence activities such as webinars, surveys, case studies, and event planning.
• Support the organization of domestic and international conferences, workshops and networking events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a graduate degree in international affairs, energy, political science or business is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, as a self‑starter and as part of a team.
• Interest in climate change, energy access and renewable energy topics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
