Junior Full-Stack Developer & Technical SEO Specialist

About the role

Codelabprojects Nigeria Limited is looking for a motivated Junior Full-Stack Developer who will also serve as a Technical SEO Specialist. You will work on building and maintaining web applications, WordPress sites, and internal tools while ensuring they rank well in search engines and deliver a great user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications, websites, and internal software solutions.
• Design, customize, and manage WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Implement and maintain technical SEO strategies to improve rankings and visibility.
• Conduct website audits, optimize architecture, page speed, indexing, crawling, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement structured data, schema markup, XML sitemaps, and other SEO best practices.
• Monitor performance using analytics and SEO tools.
• Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to boost organic search performance.
• Troubleshoot website, hosting, and technical issues.
• Assist in integrating APIs, third‑party services, and automation tools.
• Ensure security, performance, and scalability standards are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (minimum 2:2).
• 1–2 years of experience in software development, WordPress development, and technical SEO.
• Strong understanding of web development fundamentals.
