Java Software Engineer

About the role

OBSS is seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, end-to-end solutions for its clients. You will work on large-scale projects, creating RESTful APIs and scalable architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java applications according to project requirements.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate client systems.
• Create and maintain program documentation, including diagrams, flowcharts, and test plans.
• Review development and coding standards to ensure best practices are followed.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to confirm system and cost objectives are met.
• Recommend process improvements and innovative approaches to enhance supported systems.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong back-end development skills, including system design and end-to-end architecture.
• High energy, motivation, and strong communication skills.
