IT Support Representative (Full Time)

About the role

Jumia is seeking an IT Support Representative to provide technical assistance to its employees in Abuja. You will troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, manage IT assets, and help maintain the security and reliability of internal systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line and advanced technical support to all Jumia staff in Abuja.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking problems.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Administer user accounts, access controls, and security protocols.
• Manage IT inventory and asset management systems.
• Monitor network performance and implement improvements.
• Support Jumia’s e‑commerce platforms and internal tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams on complex issues.
• Lead IT projects aligned with business objectives.
• Create and update documentation and user guides.
• Conduct advanced training sessions for employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
