IT Officer (Core Banking & Digital Platforms)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Officer to manage our core banking system (BankOne) and digital banking channels. The role ensures high availability, security, and regulatory compliance of all banking technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for the BankOne Core Banking Application, monitor performance and manage user access.
• Maintain and troubleshoot digital banking platforms including mobile, internet, USSD, POS and payment channels.
• Administer servers, network devices, routers, switches and wireless infrastructure.
• Implement backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity procedures.
• Deliver first‑ and second‑level help‑desk support, handling hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, CBN regulations and support internal/external audits.
• Coordinate with vendors, monitor SLAs and manage software licensing.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking IT operations, core banking support or fintech.
• Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
