IT & Media Officer

About the role

The IT & Media Officer will maintain the school's technology infrastructure, create digital content, and support staff and parents with digital tools. This hybrid technical‑media role enhances communication, operations and the learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line hardware, software and network troubleshooting; maintain computers, internet connectivity and classroom tech.
• Manage Google Drive folders, keep an up‑to‑date inventory of devices and document IT procedures.
• Create and edit videos, newsletters, flyers and promotional material using Canva, CapCut and similar tools.
• Maintain digital media files, support social‑media and website needs, and ensure brand‑consistent visual content.
• Set up and operate audio/visual equipment for assemblies, trainings and events, providing on‑site support.
• Lead digital‑literacy sessions for staff and parents, covering platforms such as Transparent App and WEDU.
• Assist admissions with digital records, file uploads and data accuracy.
• Handle media and data securely in line with data‑protection policies and maintain confidentiality.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in IT support and media production.
• Proven experience with website management and graphic design.
• Video‑editing experience (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere or similar) is an advantage.
