IT Manager

About the role

The IT Manager will lead the delivery of technical support and infrastructure services for a fast‑growing organization in Lagos. You will ensure systems are reliable, secure and aligned with business needs while supervising a team of IT professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline help‑desk support via phone, email or chat.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, servers, applications and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls.
• Apply software patches, updates and security measures.
• Perform routine hardware maintenance and upgrades.
• Support network setup, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Oversee data backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Enforce IT policies, compliance and security protocols.
• Maintain asset inventory and mobile device management.
• Document procedures, create knowledge‑base articles and train end‑users.
• Assist with medium‑size IT projects, system migrations and deployments.

Required profile

• BSc in Information Technology or related field (MSc/MBA a plus).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar IT support/management role.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities.
