Inventory Manager

About the role

Cornerstone Limited is hiring a full-time Inventory Manager in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The role covers monitoring and controlling stock levels, keeping inventory records accurate and working with suppliers and procurement to keep supplies flowing.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability and avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Track and document all goods received, stored, transferred and issued from the warehouse or storage facility.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records using appropriate inventory management systems.
• Carry out regular stock counts, physical inventory checks and reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages and inventory issues.
• Implement controls to minimise losses, theft, damage and wastage, and ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement and other departments for timely stock replenishment.
• Monitor stock movement and consumption patterns to support planning and forecasting, and set reorder levels.

Required profile

• A minimum of 3 years of experience.
• A minimum of a degree in a related field.
