Inventory Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Inventory Manager to oversee stock control for D’xplorer Cakes and Catering Services Ltd. The role ensures accurate inventory records, supports production efficiency, and helps maintain cost control across our Lagos operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts and maintain precise stock records.
• Monitor stock movement, investigate discrepancies and enforce FIFO/FEFO rotation.
• Analyze production yield, wastage and shrinkage, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Verify received items, track consumption and prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Prepare inventory, variance, yield and wastage reports for operational and financial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, hygiene and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with production, procurement and finance teams to optimise inventory management and support audits.

Required profile

• Minimum HND qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory or stock control.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proximity to the company’s locations in Lagos (Wawa, Opic, Berger, etc.) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
