International Admissions & Enrollment Specialist

About the role

A client is looking for an International Admissions & Enrollment Specialist to act as a bridge for international students pursuing education in the United States. The role combines supportive guidance and proactive outreach to help prospective students navigate university application processes and compliance requirements. It is a remote, full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (with a 1-hour unpaid break), 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from international students seeking guidance on university applications and admissions.
• Make strategic outbound calls to follow up on online form submissions from university websites.
• Conduct cold calling and engage with hot leads to convert prospects into enrolled students.
• Explain application compliance policies and requirements clearly and patiently.
• Answer complex questions about admissions procedures, documentation and timelines.
• Maintain culturally sensitive communication with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Follow up on inquiries, track application progress and collaborate with the team to meet conversion targets.
• Document interactions and keep accurate records in CRM systems.

Required profile

• 3-4+ years of customer support experience, preferably in education recruitment, admissions, sales or student advisory.
• Ability to work a fixed 8-hour shift between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Pacific Time.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong candidates still studying may be considered.
• Excellent spoken and written English and comfort working on the phone regularly.
• Willingness to work on a US schedule and stay in the industry long term.
