Internal Control Officer

About the role

The Internal Control Officer will support Kayomix Ltd’s manufacturing and warehousing operations by ensuring that internal procedures are followed, risks are mitigated, and financial integrity is maintained. This role reports to senior management and works closely with the audit and logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and identify gaps in processes.
• Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or suspicious staff activity.
• Audit FIFO/FEFO compliance, investigate stock discrepancies, damages, and expiries.
• Verify daily and weekly stock movement reports, damage reports, and waste records.
• Ensure write‑offs, discounts, and damaged stock adjustments have proper authorization.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide a smooth, professional experience for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in internal control, audit, or fraud detection.
• Strong numerical accuracy and professional integrity.
• Effective communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Based in Abeokuta, Ogun State or surrounding areas.
• NYSC discharge certificate is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software.
