Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Executive to manage and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. The role involves daily monitoring of ledger accounts, month‑end closing, and overseeing accounts receivable. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance. The position requires maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and supporting month‑end financial close.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review general ledger accounts daily to ensure accurate accounting records and proper cost allocation.
• Prepare and review trial balances and financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate and oversee month‑end closing activities, including the preparation of financial schedules and supporting documents.
• Reconcile SAP physical inventory records with financial ledgers and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Supervise accounts receivable activities, including bill‑wise receivables, customer balances and ageing analysis.

Required profile

• HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing set‑up.
• ACA qualification is an added advantage.
