Internal Communications Coordinator

About the role

The Internal Communications Coordinator will drive the delivery of internal communication plans across Amaiden Energy Nigeria Ltd, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with corporate standards. This role supports the flow of information between departments, assets, and staff groups.

Key responsibilities

• Implement approved internal communication plans and cascade key messages to all staff locations.
• Create, edit, and publish content for intranet, Viva Engage, internal newsletters, and corporate magazines, producing at least 100 internal stories per year.
• Cover internal events such as management visits, safety campaigns, and community engagements, delivering post‑event reports and photo stories.
• Assist leadership with speeches, talking points, presentations, and internal messages.
• Maintain and update digital platforms, develop basic visual and multimedia assets (infographics, photo stories, campaign graphics).
• Liaise with departments and functional teams to verify content accuracy before publication.
• Support crisis communication by following approved protocols and ensuring timely, accurate messaging.
• Track readership, engagement, and feedback metrics to inform continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal communications or corporate communications.
• Strong editorial skills with the ability to conduct interviews and manage content from briefing to publication.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle sensitive or crisis situations with discretion.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination and information‑gathering capabilities.

Required skills

• Content management on intranet and Viva Engage platforms.
• Basic visual and multimedia creation (infographics, photo stories, campaign assets).
• Metrics tracking and reporting for digital communication channels.
