Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will join Arthur Steven Asset Management Limited in Lekki, Lagos, to lead and execute financial audit activities across the firm. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on ensuring the integrity of financial processes, compliance with regulations, and the continuous improvement of internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and perform comprehensive financial audits of the company’s operations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports that highlight findings, risks and actionable recommendations.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas of improvement.
• Monitor compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and other departments to gather information and implement audit recommendations.
• Maintain audit documentation and support any external audit engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIA are advantageous.
• Proven experience in preparing accurate audit reports and conducting financial audits.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem‑solving orientation and results‑driven attitude.
