Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our finance team in Sangotedo, Ajah, Lagos. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Reconcile bank accounts and oversee general ledger transactions.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights for business decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAN or ACCA).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
