Intermediate Node.js Developer (Multi-Backend Experience)

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Node.js Developer to join our Lagos team. You will design, build and maintain high‑performance web applications and APIs, working with a variety of backend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Node.js applications and related backend services.
• Design, implement and document RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, maintainability and scalability.
• Write and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation, including design specs and release notes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience developing Node.js applications.
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
