Interior Designer – Innovative Afrocentric Projects

About the role

KAD Studios is looking for a talented Interior Designer to join its Lagos studio. You will work closely with architects and designers to create innovative, culturally‑rich interior spaces that reflect Afrocentric values and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and space‑planning solutions for residential, commercial and cultural projects.
• Produce detailed construction drawings and documentation.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) aligned with project vision.
• Oversee project implementation, ensuring design intent, quality standards, timelines and budgets are met.

Required profile

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience in interior design, preferably on residential, commercial or cultural projects.
• Strong passion for Afrocentric design, sustainability and innovative spatial solutions.
• Excellent communication and client‑focused collaboration skills.
