Insurance Broker

About the role

The Insurance Broker will drive growth of our insurance portfolio across corporate and retail markets, focusing on hospitality, real estate and investment clients. You will build strategic partnerships, advise clients on tailored insurance solutions, and manage the full lifecycle of policies.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and expand insurance business across corporate, retail and hospitality segments.
• Develop strategic partnerships with businesses, HNIs, property owners and investors.
• Advise clients on life, health, property, travel, asset protection and investment‑related insurance products.
• Design customized insurance packages for hospitality and real‑estate clients.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities between insurance, hospitality and investment services.
• Negotiate terms, premiums and coverage with underwriters.
• Manage policy renewals, claims, risk assessments and client servicing.
• Conduct market research and prepare proposals, presentations and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in insurance brokerage, sales or business development.
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian insurance market and regulatory environment.
• Existing network of corporate clients, HNIs or business leads is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CIIN are an advantage.
• Experience with hospitality, real‑estate or luxury service clients is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.
