Instructional Designer & Learning Lead (Full-time)

About the role

Questence is looking for an Instructional Designer and Learning Lead to own the quality and production of content for its cloud‑based eLearning platform. You will shape instructional standards, create launch courses, and drive the learning function within a high‑ownership founding team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging digital courses covering onboarding, compliance, skills, and sector‑specific topics.
• Produce 3–5 launch content products before the platform go‑live.
• Build assessments and certification flows that promote learner engagement and completion.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and multimedia producers to deliver high‑quality courses.
• Define the instructional‑design playbook and quality standards for the catalog and bespoke client projects.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in instructional design or eLearning development.
• Portfolio of courses you have designed and built.
• Experience with corporate L&D or compliance‑training is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian/African training context is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Adobe Captivate.
• Hands‑on experience with SCORM and xAPI standards.
• Assessment design and certification workflow creation.
