In‑process Officer – Pharmaceutical Production

About the role

We are looking for an In‑process Officer to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Enugu. The role ensures that production processes run smoothly, meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect production processes at all stages.
• Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reports on process control activities.
• Assess product quality by inspecting manufacturing and packaging operations and reviewing batch documents.
• Ensure production areas are clean, sanitized and free from residues of previous batches.
• Carry out sampling of intermediate, bulk and finished products, including water sampling.
• Collect, reconcile and store retention samples until their shelf‑life expires.
• Perform immediate product integrity tests such as hardness, weight and seal leakage.
• Verify that process metrics are met and adhered to during production.
• Review and verify batch manufacturing records for accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND (preferably B.Pharm, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related).
• 1‑3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in English; Igbo is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or equivalent Microsoft Office tools.
