Industrialization Project Leader

About the role

Littelfuse is seeking an Industrialization Project Leader (R&D) to drive the introduction of new assembly equipment and oversee industrialization activities for upcoming product launches. The role will collaborate closely with Process & Product Engineering, Production, Automation, Quality, and Technical teams to ensure seamless equipment transfer and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional projects from concept through equipment qualification and implementation.
• Deliver project objectives on quality, cost, and delivery while meeting industrialization milestones.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities, providing clear status reporting to stakeholders.
• Define technical specifications, action plans, and schedules aligned with resources and priorities.
• Oversee equipment validation, qualification, and rollout.
• Identify and mitigate risks, supporting problem‑solving with production and quality teams.
• Capture lessons learned and promote continuous‑improvement best practices.
• Manage external suppliers, including technical specifications, negotiations, and performance follow‑up (QCD).

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of micromechanics, automation, statistical tools, DoE, and quality methodologies.
• Proven experience in manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent project‑management, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead cross‑functional teams and propose technical solutions.
• Customer‑focused, proactive, innovative, and results‑driven mindset.
• Good command of English and French.
