Immigration Intelligence and Policy Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Immigration Intelligence and Policy Officer to join our team in Lagos. The role involves monitoring immigration regulations, researching visa routes, and providing timely policy alerts to support VisaIntel’s destination intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor official immigration authorities, government sources and embassy/consulate guidance.
• Research visa‑route requirements and track changes in immigration policy.
• Identify outdated or conflicting information and maintain up‑to‑date policy versions.
• Maintain effective dates, source references and produce policy‑change alerts.
• Support VisaIntel’s priority destination intelligence across selected markets.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Degree in a related field (e.g., international relations, law, policy studies).
• Excellent research and written analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with priority markets such as the United Kingdom, Portugal, Canada, Schengen destinations and the United Arab Emirates.
• Background in immigration, legal, policy, international relations, education or compliance is preferred.
