Human Resources Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer to join our manufacturing and warehousing operations in Awekoro, Ogun State. The role will support all HR functions, ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour regulations and fostering a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations, including employee records, onboarding, and exits.
• Coordinate payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance with PAYE, PENCOM, NSITF, ITF, and NHF.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies on HR matters.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and union activities.
• Support expatriate documentation and compliance requirements.
• Prepare regular HR reports and maintain accurate personnel files.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Law or related field.
• At least 4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law, statutory compliance and industrial relations.
• Experience in plastic, packaging, sack manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage.
• CIPM certification is a plus.
• Male candidates are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HR information systems.
