Human Resources Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Officer to join our team in Abuja. The role will support all HR functions, ensuring smooth recruitment, employee administration and compliance within our hospitality business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: posting vacancies, screening applications, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and HRIS updates.
• Develop, update and communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Handle employee relations issues, grievances and workplace conflict resolution.
• Coordinate staff training, development programmes and performance‑management activities.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, leave administration and probation reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal regulations.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce insights and support audits.
• Assist management with workforce planning, engagement and retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Entry‑level HR professional with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and Nigerian labour regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organised, able to handle confidential information with discretion.
