Human Resources Manager – Mining & Lithium Processing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR activities at our mining and lithium processing facilities in Nigeria. You will partner with site leadership to build a productive, compliant, and engaging workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for the site.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate payroll, compensation, benefits, and general HR administration.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, health and safety regulations, and internal policies.
• Support employee welfare, training programmes, and talent development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and workforce analytics.
• Manage relationships with employees, contractors, unions, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, mining or other industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
