Hub Manager – Agribusiness Project

About the role

The Hub Manager will lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of WECAN activities at the agribusiness hub in Kano. This role focuses on mobilising women for agribusiness development, coordinating training, and ensuring the hub delivers its core services effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead WECAN planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and reporting at the hub level.
• Identify profitable, market‑driven agricultural commodities and suitable partners/beneficiaries within the LGA.
• Coordinate training for processing, distribution and experiential learning, and support agribusiness operations.
• Develop, operate and expand the Agrihub system at project sites.
• Oversee the three core services – Agrihub coordination, training, and agribusiness support.
• Assist the training coordinator in creating manuals, toolkits and selecting training sites.
• Recruit beneficiaries, maintain an up‑to‑date database and supervise trained youths with M&E officers.
• Prepare accurate quarterly, semi‑annual and annual reports and establish SOPs and policies for hub activities.

Required profile

• Experience managing agribusiness or development projects, preferably within WECAN or similar programmes.
• Strong ability to coordinate training, stakeholder engagement and beneficiary recruitment.
• Proven monitoring and reporting skills, with attention to budget and SOP compliance.
