HR/Admin Officer

About the role

The HR/Admin Officer will support Kenex Konsults International in managing its human resources and administrative functions. This position ensures smooth recruitment, employee record keeping, payroll assistance, and office operations within a shipping and logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities: job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
• Prepare employment letters, HR reports, and official correspondence.
• Monitor attendance, leave, lateness, and other employee‑related data.
• Support payroll preparation by providing necessary employee information.
• Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, training, and exit processes.
• Handle staff inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Nigerian labour regulations.
• Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and general administrative tasks.
• Organise meetings, training sessions, staff events, and maintain related documentation.
• Prepare periodic HR and administrative reports for management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in HR, administration or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of HR practices, employee relations and administrative procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high professionalism and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
