HR/Admin Manager – FMCG & Agroprocessing

About the role

The HR/Admin Manager will lead both human‑resources and administrative functions for a dynamic FMCG and agro‑processing company in Lagos. You will ensure effective people management, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and smooth day‑to‑day office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, promotions, transfers, exits and record‑keeping.
• Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures and compliance with Nigerian labour law.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, attendance and leave management.
• Coordinate performance appraisals, training programmes and employee development initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports, payroll inputs and workforce analytics for senior management.
• Oversee general administration: office facilities, supplies, procurement, vendor management, travel arrangements and event planning.
• Support health, safety and workplace compliance policies.
• Provide HR and admin guidance to managers and staff, assisting with workforce planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of HR/Admin experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience in FMCG, agro‑processing, manufacturing or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour regulations and statutory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• High integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
