HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources activities for MP Infrastructure across the Marina region of Anambra. The role will support both office and site operations, ensuring the workforce is aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR initiatives to support business operations and workforce planning across the assigned region.
• Coordinate and manage performance review cycles for office and site employees.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment for engineers, technical professionals, and site‑based staff.
• Partner with business leaders to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
• Maintain consistent HR service delivery across multiple locations.
• Apply company HR policies uniformly while meeting operational requirements.
• Monitor compliance with Nigerian labour laws, especially for site‑based workers.
• Maintain accurate employee records, headcount reports, and HR data for management decisions.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in construction or real‑estate sectors.
• Proven experience managing high‑volume recruitment and site‑based workforce planning.
• Strong analytical abilities and advanced Excel proficiency.
• In‑depth knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation, particularly contract staffing and casual labour.
• CIPM certification or membership is highly preferred.
• Current residence in Awka, Anambra State or surrounding areas.
