HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the human resources function for Busivel Oil and Gas Limited, ensuring HR practices support the company's strategic objectives. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the hotel's goals and objectives.
• Manage the full recruitment and selection process, including workforce planning, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
• Oversee employee relations and resolve workplace issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters fairly and professionally.
• Coordinate employee training, development, and succession planning programs.
• Manage performance appraisal systems and support departmental managers in employee evaluations.
• Administer employee compensation, benefits, leave management, and payroll coordination.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor employee attendance, turnover, and workforce productivity.
• Promote employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive organizational culture.
• Advise management on HR‑related matters, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and recommendations for senior management.
• Conduct orientation programs and support employee welfare activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of an HND qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
