Housekeeper

About the role

Premier Hotel Ibadan is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas. You will work in a professional hospitality environment, interacting courteously with guests and supporting the housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, dust, polish surfaces, vacuum, and mop floors.
• Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and beverages.
• Handle laundry items, report maintenance issues, and ensure safe use and storage of cleaning equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and collaborate with team members to keep the property welcoming.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Organizational ability to manage daily room assignments.
• Willingness to learn on the job and follow safety and brand guidelines.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to complete checklists and records.
