House Keeper

About the role

We are looking for a diligent House Keeper to join our hotel team in Lagos. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a pleasant stay for our guests. You will work closely with the housekeeping supervisor to uphold our high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and arrange guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned areas.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other room supplies.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces.
• Replenish toiletries and other guest amenities.
• Report damaged items, maintenance issues, or missing property to the supervisor.
• Properly handle and report guests’ lost and found items.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly used and stored.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Attend to guests politely and professionally when necessary.
• Follow hotel rules, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with other cleaning duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Management.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail.
• Neat, hardworking, and reliable.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
• Previous hotel/housekeeping experience is an advantage.
