Hotel Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager will lead all hotel operations, ensuring seamless service across every department. Reporting to senior management, you will drive occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Administration.
• Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Monitor occupancy, room rates, revenue, expenses and overall profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to boost market share and revenue.
• Resolve guest complaints and operational issues promptly.
• Recruit, train, supervise, motivate and evaluate staff performance.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, inventory and cost‑control measures.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, security and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare operational, financial and performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–7 years of hotel operations experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Proven track record managing a hotel, resort or similar establishment.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management, cost control and guest relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid financial acumen with budgeting and expense management experience.
• Professional hospitality certification or industry membership is a plus.
