About the role

We are looking for a dedicated home tutor to provide one‑on‑one instruction to two primary school children (Primary 2 and Primary 5) in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The tutor will follow the Nigerian curriculum and cover phonics, English, mathematics and science.

Key responsibilities

Deliver 1 hour of focused lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5 PM at the client’s home.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the Nigerian primary curriculum.
Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to each child’s learning style.
Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.

Required profile

Experience teaching primary‑level students, preferably in the Nigerian education system.
Ability to teach phonics, basic English, arithmetic and introductory science.
Flexible schedule to meet the specified days and times.

Required skills

Strong knowledge of the Nigerian primary curriculum.
Effective communication and classroom management.
